The plan will present plug-in hybrid vehicles and/or pure electric vehicles by 2024. In other words, the next-generation Ranger has confirmed some form of electrification.

It looks like the new model could easily come with six cylinders under the hood. The current model features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost, which is already pretty strong in terms of performances, as it delivers around 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
